As one quarter of Kraftwerk's 'classic' line-up, Karl Bartos will forever be associated with all that is severe, futuristic and industrial. In person, he is warm and conversant, often breaking out into smiles. It's a million miles away from the automated mien that his former band cultivated with such machine-tooled precision & Constructivist rigour. (...)
