We'd like to thank everybody at by:Larm for the warm welcome. It is a great festival with a very distincive atmosphere and fantastic contributions from all over the world. Special thanks to Timothy Barr, who conducted his interview with a deep knowledge on Karls former band. Other speakers have been Peter Hook, Bill Drummond, Alan McGee, Geoff Travis, Masaya Matsuura, Sten Selander. We're looking forward with anticipation to the next program. Photographs by Bettina Michael: Karl Bartos & Mathias Black demonstrate in their cinematic lecture the evolution of sound recording. On screen: The Italian futurist Luigi Russolo, who wrote his manifesto "L’arte dei rumori" in 1913.
